Samuel J Keck-Flory MD
Dr. Keck-Flory brings a diverse academic and professional background to his work in psychiatry, allowing him to connect with patients from a wide range of life experiences. He earned his undergraduate degree in organic chemistry from University of Illinois and a master’s degree in molecular biology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and worked in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries as well as in education through college instruction and tutoring. These experiences shaped his understanding of the challenges individuals face in everyday life and led him to pursue a career in medicine. He completed medical school and psychiatry residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he was involved in research on esketamine and co-authored work related to schizophrenia and associated conditions. He is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that integrates evidence-based treatments with a broader, patient-centered approach, and values collaboration with therapists, physicians, and school systems to support patients and their families.
Kristin Krebs, LCSW
Kristin Krebs is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois. She has a Bachelor's degree in sociology from Loyola University of New Orleans. She is also a Registered Nurse in Illinois and Missouri. Kristin has been engaged in social work and counseling in a variety of settings for over 25 years. She has been with Illinois Associates in Psychiatry since 2001, working with individuals, couples, and families on their mental health, functioning, and well-being. Kristin finds it a privilege and honor to be able to work with her clients in a comfortable and confidential environment in order to assist them in formulating and attaining their goals. Kristin believes in a strengths-based perspective and appreciates the inherent value and worth of each individual.
