Specialized Psychiatric Care for Children and Teenagers

We offer psychiatric evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents — from early childhood through the teenage years. Children's mental health needs are distinct from adults, and our approach reflects that. We take time to understand not just symptoms, but the child's developmental stage, family context, school environment, and social world.

We work closely with parents, pediatricians, schools, and therapists to provide coordinated, effective care.

We evaluate and treat:

  • ADHD and attention/behavioral difficulties

  • Anxiety and school refusal

  • Depression and mood disorders

  • Autism spectrum disorder (behavioral and co-occurring psychiatric conditions)

  • OCD

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Oppositional and conduct difficulties

  • Tic disorders

  • Eating disorders (in coordination with primary care)

  • First-episode psychosis

What to expect:
The initial evaluation for a child or adolescent typically involves separate conversations with the parent(s) and the child, along with a review of any prior evaluations, school records, or outside provider notes. Parents are active partners throughout treatment.
