My Approach to Care

Psychiatric treatment is rarely one-size-fits-all. Dr. Keck-Flory works closely with patients and families to understand not only symptoms, but also the broader factors that influence emotional well-being, relationships, school performance, and quality of life.

Treatment plans are developed collaboratively and may include medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle interventions, or advanced treatment options when appropriate. His goal is to help patients achieve meaningful improvements while ensuring they feel informed, respected, and actively involved in their care.

Working with Children, Adolescents, and Families

Children and adolescents often experience mental health concerns differently than adults. Dr. Keck-Flory works closely with families, schools, therapists, and primary care providers when appropriate to ensure treatment plans are coordinated, developmentally appropriate, and practical for everyday life.

He believes that successful treatment often involves supporting not only the patient, but also the family systems and environments in which children and adolescents live, learn, and grow.
